There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Davies: Page 1, line 8, after "if": Insert "(a)" 1994-03-21 House Journal Page 2909 HB 517 Page 1, line 10, after "misrepresentation": insert "; or (b) the misrepresentation is based on a notarized statement provided by the seller" Representative Davies moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Phillips objected. Amendment to Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Parnell: Delete "notarized statement" Insert "verification" Representative Parnell moved and asked unanimous consent that the amendment to Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Porter objected. Representative Parnell moved and asked unanimous consent to withdraw the amendment to Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Davies moved and asked unanimous consent to withdraw Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Phillips moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 517(JUD) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 517(JUD) was read the third time. Representative Mulder moved and asked unanimous consent that he be allowed to abstain from voting due to a possible conflict of interest.
